My hubby came home the other day with this beautiful Orchid. It still had not opened completely, so I got to enjoy it for a while. I used this beautiful pot that my sister had passed on to me. I'm not sure if I like the Orchid or the pot better?

Everything is blooming.
Spring is here, yay. It's such a joy to be outdoor now, it's still some what cool and very pleasant. Been cleaning up a bit and re potting some plants. I so need to get more dirty and fertilizer. I'm planning on getting more miniature Roses latter on today, going to give them a try again. I had some a few years back and I moved them around a bit and they did not like that at all.
Enjoy these beauties.

Easter goodness.
This beautiful Easter card I received from my sweet friend Bobbie Lynn, her cards are simply precious and I treasure every single one of them. Love the cute image that she used.
This is a new addition to my Easter goodies. This so cute, kinda smaller than usual cookie jar. I love the soft pale blue color and the sweet little bunny. I found it at TJmax. I think I'm going to leave it out all summer long.
As far as crafting Easter projects, all that I've really done this year is this little wood banner. These wood bunnies I found at the Target, the minute I saw them I just knew they had to come home with me.

Mix media retro purse.
This little sweet purse was given to me and I love it so much. I started by cleaning it up a bit and then I primed it. I thought I would just use paints and stamps but of course I could not just do that. I took out my napkins and started playing with them. I finally finished by sealing it, to protect it a bit. I think I'm going to used it to keep my thrifting money in it, lol.

It's a jungle out there.
Thank you Lord for springtime.
OMG I've been so busy outside. I so need to catch up on my friends blog, I don't want to miss any beautiful posts, so this Sunday I will spend the day, well the afternoon visiting blogs.
For most of last week, I've been working on the garden non stop, not there yet. The weather down here is still not too hot and I can still get somethings done. We're planning on having a truck full of mulch delivered very soon and I'm so looking forward to that final little touch. I leave you with some pictures of our back yard. This is my style of gardening, al jungle. I'm so bad a t cutting things back.

In the garden.
My favorite place to be. This week I've been top dressing all my plants. My general garden is pretty much established already and most of my plants are in the ground, and I love it that way. I do have a few containers, but most of it is in the ground. They do require some yearly TLC. As soon as it get a bit warmer, which will be very soon down here, I will be fertilizing.
So far I'm loving my vegetable and herb garden, doing really well. Planning on planting 3 or 4 more packets of Basil seeds, so want to make pesto this year. I can't complain, it's been an unusual long and cool winter down here and if you live in south Florida you know what I mean. Thank you Lord.

Vintage ironing board.
I've been wanting a vintage ironing board for a very long time. Well, my sister found one for me and I'm in love with it. The legs are solid iron and the top is wood, so very strong. I made this cute little over for it. I love the fabric pattern and the color is my new favorite color. This cover can easily be removed for when I need to tuck a sleeve or something through. I can't seam to fold it and store it away, love looking at it.
