Happy Sunday, loving nature.

I love the Christmas season, I love to decorate and I look forward to the season and spending time with family. But, I have to admit that I also look forward to the end of the Christmas holidays, because that's when my gardening season really begins for me. Well, I never stop making plans for my garden.
I still have some more cleaning to do, specially on some of the trellises still have dead foliage on them. Need to run more tubing for my irrigation system in the back yard. I have planted lots of seeds already and I can't wait for my crops to start producing. For now I'm just enjoying my paper whites, so pretty.

                                                                          Sweet Alison, LOVE.

                                                                                      First to bloom.

Happy Christmas Eve, Happy Birthday China.

Today is a awesome day for our family, it's my sister China's birthday. She's a very special person, not only because she shares her big day with Jesus. Coming from a family of 5 girls, I can honestly say that she's everyone's best friend. My dad gave her the nickname "China" because he said she was his little China doll. Celebrating our traditional Cuban Noche Buena and her b-day party tonight, wish that the rest of the family could be here too.

She's worn and tattered and oh so beautiful. Her name is AYANA and she never leaves home without her favorite vintage brooch. She's a 6X12 TN with 47 yummy pages and she's looking for her forever home.
Her pages are full of fabric snip collages and plenty of stitching. She's made up of sheet music, grid paper, onion skin paper, vintage garden book pages and lots of blank lined paper just ready to be journaled on.
Ayana comes with a textile bundle of vintage fabrics, lace and trims. With a bundle of ephemera cutouts, envelopes, pockets and tea dyed tags. She also brings extra vintage book pages and sheet music.
As you can see, she comes with plenty of materials for you to make her some Tip Ins and Tuck Spots and just make her your own.
Her spine is sewn and reinforced.
SOLD right away on my Facebook page, she didn't even get to my Instagram or shop.  BLESSINGS SHELLY, THANK YOU. .

Botanical garden.

Went for another visit to our local Botanical garden, this time in the winter. Just wanted to see and oh boy was I surprise, so much in bloom. The Roses love this cooler weather. We made a day of it, I can make a day out of anything, just like spending time with my Jamo. We visited with some new friends and had the most wonderful time, then went out to dinner. I'm loving this winter weather. My Jamo says that this is not winter weather, maybe not compare to the north east, but I grew up in south Florida.

Trees do put on a show here in south Alabama and they're beautiful. Need to do some more research, I so want to get a couple of deciduous trees. I only have a two spots in the back yard, so I really have to plan on it. After all, planning a garden is half the fun.

A fairy-tale winter wonderlands in my studio. Feeling blessed.

That's what it looks like to me, lol. This is my happy place, where I can do anything I like, no boys allowed.
