Under wraps.

Sharing how I wrapped some goodies that I added to a fun swap that I'm in. The themed was a bakery. 

This sweet little purse/box is filled with all kinds of goodies that I hope she can use some how in projects.

This is wood and I found it at a garage sale. I used some milk paint and the cupcake is a button. I'm wrapping the paper house/bakery in pink tulle and tying it up with this on top. I hope she like it.

If you built it they will come.

We did put  these up this summer, so I'm hoping for a little family to make a home out of them. I'm planning on putting them all over our property. The humming bird feeder station is working perfectly and they're loving it. I clean their feeders once a week and make fresh humming bird juice. 

Old school.

I know these are old school, but I still love making them. Got to play a little last night. Getting ready to mail a couple of swaps that I joined, finally back to creating again. Maybe I shouldn't of joined two swaps at the same time, lol. I'm all finish now and they are ready to be mailed out. So once my partners receive them, I'll be able to share.  

Flowers from my garden.

It's getting so hot that you really can't be outside for long. A lot of the flowers are slowing down, eve though 

I water morning and night. I manage to pick these early today, I'm going to miss my flowers in the winter.   

Sprucing up the mantel.

 Just added another layer to the top of our fireplace mantel. I felt like something was missing. I tend to not know when to stop, lol, but I think it works. I used an old frame that I found at a garage sale and stapled some chicken wire in the back. It's not permanent, so I can always remove it.

Swapping again.

After 2 years of not creating a thing, I've joined two very different swaps and I'm enjoying it so much. I hope these extra goodies will make someone very happy. Not saying a thing.

A little box full of treasures.

The fun part about unpacking is that I'm still unpacking. 

Making over the old mudroom.

I have been working on our old mudroom. Found the curtains that I knew had somewhere. I need to re upholster the little metal chair, it's very special to me. This use to be my mom's sewing chair and she pass it on to me. Can't wait to finish this room.

One man's trash......

This little desk was bad and now it's pretty after her makeover. I had to use wood filler in some areas, them I painted and distressed, I then sprayed painted the knobs black. The top was really bad so I decided to cover it with reg fence boards that I sanded, stained and sealed. The drawers are in great condition, the tracks are smooth and easy to open, that's the main reason I decided to save her.
