This picture spoke to me, I LOVE it. 

I did it, at last, Sweet Peas.

If I don't ever grow a thing again, I'm good, because I grew a Sweet Pea. I know I'm a plant geek that's now beyond thrilled. Nearly impossible to grow in the deep south, definitely not in south Flo. Started them indoors in early Dec, and prayed. Everything lined up, it's been a very unusual cool long spring here, they don't like the heat. I got a bloom, yay!!!!! and more coming if it stays this mild, but I got one bloom, thank you Jesus.

Kitchen garden project.

It's coming along, taking our time and enjoying the process. He's doing such a great job, so happy. I love this man and I love when we work on projects together. So happy that we went with the black stain, it's going to look so pretty with the gray gravel stones. The kitchen garden will be like a garden within a garden, a separate defined space. 

Winter sowing.

First time sowing seeds this way and It works perfectly. I'm so using this method again next year. I discovered this method on line, most people use clear milk jugs. I used soda bottles that my sister saved for me. My germination rate was like almost 100%. The best part is that the baby plants do not have to be harden off, it's like they're in a mini green house.
