Early morning garden walk.

Soil is everything when you garden and the soil here in the deep south, is amazing! I have done, not a thing to amend this soil other than a little time release fertilizer when I plant. I was going to test my soil, but what for? Sandy-clay loam beautiful red fertile soil, perfect. The cutting garden beds are over flowing into the path, and that's ok by me.

Photo-shoot for my Snapdragon.

First time growing Snapdragons, I had no luck with them in Florida. I could go pick some, but never grew my own. These I started from seeds as an experiment and I'm so happy that I could do it. I'm growing them in white and pink also. Next year I'll plan better where to place them, I almost have no room for them. The thing is that I had awesome germination rate on all my seeds, everything took and now where to put it all. I love having that problem.

Just for a fun pop of color in my all white butler's pantry area.

I love the look of the carrot leaves in this little arrangement.

My water feature is installed.

Thanks to my Jamo, the water fountain is all done. I've had it for over 20 years and I just love work to the sound of running water and I think the birds will too. I'm not sure about the color, I might end up painting it in a color that would look better with my new garden.

These are new to me Cosmos, I think they're my favorite blooms.

Arrangement of the week.

I love this time of year, the garden is in full bloom and beautiful. I love pinks, purples and white in my garden, I have no idea how I ended up with so much yellow. The Snapdragons and California Poppy I grew from seeds. The Stella D' Or lilies bulbs where given to me and they just keep on multiplying.  I see some white Yarrow that I also grow from seeds, for filler I used some dill that I also grew from seeds.

A visit to our local Botanical Garden.

This is my second time visiting our local botanical garden. Both time it's been during late spring and early summer and so want to come aging during the fall. It's a great resource to learn and see what can grow right in you local area. I walk around with a little note pad and write down all the plants that I love and put them in my wish list, lol. They have the most beautiful and healthy rose garden that I've ever seen.

Farmhouse inspired bench.

My sister designed it and her husband built it, this cute little Farmhouse inspired bench. These two make such a great team working together, they can barely keep up with all the work they have. I was very grateful when they said they would built me one. Been so looking for something small and not too wide and I wanted all wood. This thing is solid and I'll get to enjoy it for a very long time, feeling happy.
