There's always peace to be found in the garden.

Trying to get back into the rhythm of things again, but still missing our Pear. On this early morning garden walk, the roses are loving this fall weather and the Azaleas are starting to bloom, I love them, they are beautiful here in the south. My dad's "Tilo" (Linden Herbal Tea) it's like over 30 years old and it's loving it here. It has sure come in handy. Legend says that his herbal tea can fix everything, according to all Cuban grandmothers, from an upset stomach to calming your nerves. It really does work.

My dad went to be with the lord 30 years ago and this is a decedent of his original plant. My entire family has it and I always try to keep on hand propagations of cuttings to pass on to anyone that wants her. It's a great nerve calming tea, better than chamomile to calm the stomach. For a stomach calming, I add a little ginger water and it's amazing how fast it works. At all the Cuban funerals they pass this tea out, or they talk about having a tea when you get home, lol.
