I really enjoy gathering and collecting mail ephemera, stickers, washy tape or anything I can get my hands on. I final carved a little corner for it. I now get to display the little station and it looks so pretty plus I can see it and use it. Mission organization still in full force.

My new temporary art studio.
Ok I so needed to bring out my pretties and that's why I took over the quest room. I know I'm adding extra work for myself being that I'll have to move it all again once my much awaited art studio space is completed.
This little metal shelve is so cute that I can't part with it. I hope I can find a place for it in the new space.
I had to give away most of my swan collection but I couldn't part with this little guy, he's so beautiful.
This little glass heart my hubby gave to me a long time ago and I treasure it.

ATC storage and canvases I can't part with
Been organizing and arranging my temporary art space. One of my all time favorite art things to do is collecting ATCs (artist trading cards), they are so much fun to create and receive. Like tiny little art treasures from artists from just about all over the world. I miss trading them, but maybe once things settle down for us I can start up again.
These are some of my little canvases that I just need to hang on to. I've sold most of them and gave some away but there're others that just makes me happy to look at and these are it. There is another little one about a vintage fairy that looks just like my sister Mayra, lol. I love the yellow tones on that one but I haven't found it yet. These are all keepers and can't wait to create some more.
The ballerina is a napkin transfer technique that I just love doing. Being that I can't draw, it's perfect for someone like me.

I'm in shiplap heaven.
I always wanted an old house and we found the one for us. Discovering all this shiplap has been so much fun. Do we add a color or do we leave it white. The great thing about paint is that you can always change your mind.

Still working on my temporary art studio.
I'm like 95% unpacked already, I don't want to see another box as long as I live. So I decided to take a brake and unpack the fun boxes, my art supplies and scrap-booking goodies. It's like Christmas all over again.
I prayed so much that God would show us the home he wanted for us, we just had to wait a little for it. After all God's timing is always perfect, sometimes is so hard to wait. This home came with my dream art studio space. Well the potential for it, so in the mean time I've set up shop in the spare bedroom. For me that's a blessing too, being that I use to scrapbook out of half a closet.
So far I've set up my pretties and little stations here and there. I'm enjoying again all the little pieces of art that my friends have sent me from just about all over the world.

New art piece, loving the spring colors.
Ok, we sold most of our furniture and we have nothing on the wall. So what is a girl to do, make my own art. I found this old canvas at the thrift shop, I primed it and just went for it. I was going for spring colors, I think is because I miss my garden. Since I can't draw a thing, I went with bubbles, even I can do bubbles,
For texture I use my favorite stencil and some wrapping paper. I did a drip technique that I learn on YouTube. I love to play with paint.

Setting up my temporary art studio.
I know this seams like extra work for me, but I had to set up some kind of work space for now. I took the guess room and turn it into my temporary art studio. I'm attempting to unpack all the boxes and set up systems more or less how I plan for them to be, I figure this way I'll just move one area at a time to the permanent studio. Opening all these boxes feels like Christmas all over again.
I'm making sure that every pretty storage box is tag because I lost track of whats in were.
This is an old cheese box that a sweet friend gave me and I altered it in a vintage theme. It keep my favorite paper dolls in it. I have another display in mind for some of my favorite ones. I love looking at paper dolls, they just warm my heart.
This cute tag came in a set and I love them all. Think I'll be using lots of these.
I love collecting vintage crystal chandelier drops. I used an old baking tin and pray painted it in ballerina pink, of course. I set the tin by the east window and the morning light makes them glow, oh so beautiful.
This piece I found at Ross, not to long ago. I love this shade of green.
This 3 tear display piece I found in a garage sale. I can picture that a very talented carpenter made it. So I turned it into my glitter station. Now to find a lazy susan for it, I'm on the hunt, of course I'm not buying a new one. The sweet little swan is also a garage sale find, I love swans.
Sorry, you can't see the whole thing but this is the base of a wire stand that holds my favorite ATC (artist trading cards). This gorgeous heart is also a salvage find.

My DIY chalkboard project.
Oh I'm going to have fun with this thing. My Jamo cut me a piece of thin plywood like 48 x 48. I painted it with chalkboard paint in black and then I stated cutting the fence boards. I had a few left over from the kitchen back splash project.
The bottom wire basket piece and the signs I found at HL and I think they're perfect for this little space. For the chalk holder I cleaned up an old chicken feeder that I found at the metal yard. Now all I need is to find an eraser. This is the little hall way that goes from the kitchen to the TV room. I love how the ship lap looks, that was a job to expose but it was worth it.
The garlic is because I'm trying not to catch the flu, it's working. I'm also taking Elderberry gummies and Echinacea.
