This is my first time growing corn and I'm so happy with the progress. Its started to tassel like last week or so and today I went out to find some ears already forming. It's huge 12 feet tall at least, I had no idea it can grow this tall. I did fertilize twice, once when it was a foot high and once when it was about knee high.

My corn and bean trellis.
Feeling creative again.
I joined a couple of crafting swaps and I'm so happy to be spending time in my studio. The swaps are different, one is more of a vintage lace and fabric thing and the other is shabby pink and blue cute paper thing. I'll be posting pictures of my progress as I go along, they're turning out so cute.

Dreaming of an all white garden.
Our little cottage fixer upper is coming along. Now we're concentrating on the front garden. We've named her "Crescent moon cottage" because of the brick work on top of the front door and because I always dreamed of a moon garden. A moon garden is an all white, that allows the moon light to bounce off the flowers and the garden looks like it glows in the dark. I think our cottage will look so cute embedded in an all white garden, so I'm going for it. Don't know how long it will take me to collect all white plants, I have a feeling that I'm going to enjoy this journey so much.
We need to pressure wash the metal roof and paint the chimney. Little by little is coming along.
These are my inspiration pictures, now all of these may not grow in my zone 8b garden.
This is our porch now after we've stained the deck black. I'm so happy how that turned out.
Paper lanterns for my studio.
Like I could fit another thing in this room, but I always find a way. I used some velum butterflies that I had left over from another project. This room is full of my favorite things that make me happy to look at.

Flowers from my garden.
I love lots of colors in my arrangements, but some times it's restful to stick to one color. In this arrangement I think the green plays off the white so beautifully. I used some dill as part of the greenery. I love when dill goes to seed. Next year I'm planning on sowing even more because I love how it looks and I love the scent.
