I just came in from watering my plants, I'm literally mad.... it is soooooo hot out there. I know I live in Miami, but PLEASE GOD just a bit of cold weather would be nice. I love Miami, but I'd give anything right now for that happy joyfull feeling you get when you see snow falling, it all looks so beautiful almost magical, Ahhhhhhh that feeling.
Sorry, just dreaming out loud.

WINTER CROP CLASS AT DAMARIS.

So glad I made it to an actual class. All that I have learned about scrapbooking has been through YouTube. I had so much fun at Damaris' winter crop class this weekend. It's hard for me to have a free weekend but, it was so worth it! I learned a lot, we made a Christmas mini (I'll be posting pics later). I love to learn new things, I actually got to see the Zutter Binder in action and the corner rounder that goes right through chip board. I got to take home a finished mini and tons of goodies that Damaris gave us. She was also having a huge holiday scrapbook sale and all the merchandise in her pink room was 50% off. How great is that? So I picked a few things that I needed.
These talented ladies have been friends for a long time and they all LOVE to scrap. I finally got to meet ADY.
Ady did the most beautiful LO!!! Thank you ladies for the warm welcome, I had a great time.

This is a soooo gorgeous banner that Vanessa worked on, it turned out BEAUTIFUL, she got it as a kit. I had never seen an actual completed one; so it was a treat to see her work on it.


This birdie was part of the banner. I fell in love with him. How cute is he????

Today has been a very productive day for me. First I made a video about my second mini album and then I got the mail. I got a bit excited, take a look YouTube

I'm storage challenged. Ya think!

Don't get me wrong. I love our home and I'm so thankful for it, is perfect for just the two of us. But, since I started scrapbooking I think my house is shrinking? So I've come up with some ingenious ways of storing my supplies.


This is where I store my larger punches, in a 5 gallon bucket that I keep in our bedroom closet.

These little wooden suite case like container were a hand-me-down from one of my sis.


My favorite illustrator is Mary Engelbreit. I collect anything I can find of hers . I store it all safely in here, with plenty of room still left.

I keep it on the bottom of this wall unit, no one knows what's in it.

This other one is a bit smaller.

I keep old junkie jewelry finds and charms that I have to take apart and work on.

This goes on the other side of the wall unit. Another storage problem solved!

The only set back with my storage system is that sometimes I forget where I hide/store things. I still can't find my floss and sewing threads ????

My first Christmas Mini album.

I'm officially an addicted to mini albums. DONE! Today I had my creative juices going and I finished it! Wheeeee www!!! I love it.

Am I ready ? NO ..... But, my gosh I did it anyway! My first YouTube.

I'VE BEEN BUSY!!! It took me for ever, but I did it. It feels soooooooo good beacuse I finally built up the courage to do a video on You Tube. I need a lot of practice!!! I'm really not a techie, it was my first time using the video on my camera, I was all over the place and the quality OMG. I need to get with it.

I went last week to my friend Damaris. She was having a scrappin good sale, and I found all these goodies at half off, how great is that.
