Rainy day means crafting weather.

Been working on these new journals for Valentine's day. They're going to have a retro vintage look to them and I'm enjoying this project so much. My last two junk journals didn't even make it to my Etsy shop

I'm working on a name for them, I always try to name my journals in some kind of floral name. Of course my journals have be female, girl power .  

Junk journal paper doll bundle. SOLD.

This cute bundle of  paper doll ephemera has to be one of my favorite so far. I don't don't know why, but I've always loved paper dolls, I use to collect them for my nieces from all over the world. Now they're all in collage and I have them back, lol. With the re-birth of Junk Journing I get to use them. This bundle has a kitsch feel to it, I think cause of the decal, how cute. 

New little bundles of crafty happiness.

Putting bundles, lots and kits together. Gathering and collection all this goodness is so much much, I think is the hunt that I really enjoy. My favorite here is the "Snail Mail" bundle, I just love postal ephemera. I saved some for me too and I can't wait to start working on my journal making again. But first, to put all that Christmas stuff away. I love putting it up, but not so much taking it down.

I can't believe that I'm working on Valentine Day projects, but I'm loving every minute of it. 

Planner set up for 2020

Setting up my 2020 planner, I always like to be a few weeks ahead in case I can't get to it and I don't like to rush a layout. This year I'm going to try and keep my pages more simple, mainly use lots of washi which I love anyway. These I got on Etsy and I love them, adjusting them to my Happy Planner. I'm used to the Happy Planner and I love it. 

Getting some orders ready.

Today I worked for a few hours on setting up some pages in my planner, keeping it simple this year. The rest of the afternoon hubby watched action movies and I worked on my orders. I have two orders that are kinda ready, but I still have to pull a few other items. I don't like rushing to fill my orders, I do have 3 days to process them. I like to take my time, I enjoy the presentation and the prepping of the items. 

I like sharing my goodies and spreading the love. So I usually add another bundle of extra goodness. This is heading out to Amy, it's her second time ordering from me and I tried really hard not to repeat any items in her "thank you" bundle. Her first order I did pink, this one I'm doing gold and cream. 

I've been publish and I'm so excited.

What a way to start the new year and It's all God's doing, once more. Thank you Stampington & Co. for publishing my work in the first 2020 issue of Art Journaling Magazine, beyond excited and humbled. So much amazing talent out there and they chose my little art journals, inspired by our old church.
