My Shabby Love, a Lady's Hand Made Journal, she's worn & tattered
and oh so beautiful. All dressed up to meet her love in her vintage
laces and trims, wearing her favorite piece of jewelry, a beautiful
alcohol inked metal heart and key.
She's an 11 X 6 1/2 inches TN style junk journal with lots of pretty uneven pages, textures and colors. Her cover is made of cardstock that has been completely cover in a delicate vintage shear fabric that looks like she wearing a vail. She's study and yet pliable to the touch. She has one hand bound signature with 75 yummy page sand she's looking for her forever home.

She has pretty coffee and tea dyed papers that have been inked and sewn.
She's made up of sheet music, grid paper, vintage garden book pages,
designer paper and ephemera with lots of blank pages just ready to be
journal on. Her closure is a tattered piece of sheer and embroidered
cream color fabric, that just ties in a bow. Her primary colors are
cream and white with a splash of red for some passion. She also has a
bit of baby teal blue and soft buttery yellow hidden thought-out.
I've added some beautiful tags and snippet clusters in vivid red, here
and there. The cover and most of the laces are all vintage from my
private collection of many years.

Marlene,
ReplyDeleteYou create amazingly gorgeous journals. She's stunning with all her layers and sweet textiles peeking out. I love your creative style. Such pretty charms, lovely lace, and such a nice variety of trims...simply beautiful. I was so surprised and touched when I heard you mention me in the video...your RAK package was so much fun to put together and to know that you used a page of sheet music to put in one of your journals for a customer just makes me smile. I can't wait to see your next journal flip through...so much fun to watch. You are a dear soul, my friend. Take care and be well.
