Christmas Yule log beauties.

What's Christmas with out some baking time, I think I'm doing my delicious cookies this years. Looking for inspiration on Pinterest, I found these pretty Yule log. I learned about them in Germany, where is pretty much a Christmas tradition to make them.  I've made one with Hazel nut and chocolate, maybe I'll make one this year????

My first winter garden is doing amazing.

My winter garden has exceeded my expectation, actually this is my first winter garden and it's just getting started. I only have the beds done and the log trail garden on the side of the house. The back garden area is pretty much untouched, I only have the landscape fabric, no paths or plants yet. But, the little garden area that I have developed is doing amazing and I'm so happy with it.  I'm thinking the garden is really going to take off this year, now that I can dedicate more time to it. I still have few small renovating projects left inside the house, but for the most part all the major ones are DONE. Thank you Lord.

The tree is all done, loving it.

Well, after much encouragement,  I gave in and I went for a little Buffalo check this year. I made some of the ornaments and added some of the ribbons and I think It all works.
But, you know the funny thing is that I really love this tree with not a thing on it. My Jamo got us this tree when we first moved here, the old one I had for like 20 years and it was a goner. It's from Walmart and I love it. I think is because of the lights, not bright almost like a warn amber color. It's flocked but not too much, it has pine cones attached to the branches and did I mention my favorite thing. It has lots and lots of glitter, in a golden tone that matches the lights. I tell you it doesn't need a thing. Next year I think I'm going to enjoy it naked, lol. Anyway it's not about the tree or the decorations, yes that's nice and I love to decorate. It's about keeping Jesus in the season and with a grateful heart.  How could you ever repay what he did for us? But we can sure try!

Made a template for these little trucks and I think they turned out so cute. I din't want to do the little red truck for my tree. I had this check scrap booking paper left for another project and it worked out perfectly.

My sister gave me this sweet little step ladder, I've been on the hunt for one and  love it. It's eventually going in the front porch.

I made these tag ornaments, the wood reindeer I left over from last year.
