OUR EASTER HOME DECOR FOR THIS YEAR.

I love spring time, is one of my favorite season! Since our home is small and I really don't have much room to play in. I have to be careful on how much to decorate. This year I though I keep my Easter decorations simple, clean and pink. I concentrated on just two areas of our home. Our coffee table, which is a focal point and the table behind the couch.

I purchase this cute vintage bird cage from the sweetest little old man, while on a junking trip in central Florida. I told him I would give it a good home. The rest of the items, I mostly already had but, just arrange around a bit.
This is what I came up with and I hope you like it.

These little guys are new to me this year. They are so super cute, white and pink. Love them!

This little bird nest was resting on my Ella's shoulder, when I dressed her up for Valentine. All I did to it was change the vintage bow from white to pink. Now I get to enjoy it for a few more weeks. Love this birdie, so adorable.

I hope everyone is having a fabulous weekend. I'm finally getting back into the groove of things after spending a few weeks having fun in Alabama with my sisters, her amazing kids and my mom. I came back rested and ready to create and play with my goodies.
I came up with this darling Altered  Easter Egg  kit. I made a You Tube explaining all the detail and what you will receive in your kit.

This is the one I made and it's  also available for sale and for the same price.

I think she looks so darn cute with her little hands on her mouth. Love this image.

This is the kit, for you to create and make it your own. This Altered Easte Egg kit is just $25.00. It includes shipping to the U.S. only. It will probably not make to my Etsy shop. Your may e-mail me here: jebert@hushmail.com if you are interested in getting one of your own.

Little tokens of friendships.

I made this wall hanging plaque for a friend that had a recent loss in her family.
I finally found the background in pink that I was looking for, she's a pink girl. I mounted it on heavy chipboard, added a couple of my favorite eyelets and just embellished.  I'm so happy that she loved it and put it in her beautiful scraproom.

This canvas bag I made for a very dear and sweet friend. I had so much creative fun making these. I purchased the canvas bags, so all I had to do was take out my bridal appliques and hand tea dyed vintage laces and trims. My favorite was making the flowers, I just love how they turned out. Everything is either hand or machine sewn, nothing glued here.

This one I made for a very special and talented  friend that has just about everything you could think of, as far as crafting. This canvas is primarily in white, she's a white girl. The images I printed on a separate piece of canvas that I was able to put through my printer. The edges are frayed and unfinished, I really like that look.  Haven't given it to her yet, I sure hope she likes it.

More LOVE please.

These are my very favorite Valentine pieces, some are new some are vintage. But all so pretty.

I originally planned on making a masculine card for my hubby. But this is what I came up with, masculine, not. I love the image, he is so sweet looking.

This card I made for my hubby to send to his mom, it reminds me of her.

My Ella dressed for Valentine.

I got this idea of the bird nest from some one's blog a while ago and I can't remember where. But here is my take on it.
