THESE ARE OUR CUTE BABIES.

I just had to post about these pictures. I'm always taking pictures of our babies, but I this time I had to share. Take a look at how comfortable and happy our little teenage cats are. They hang out in our out door room all the time. Actually they were born out there and they've not left. We feed them good food and all they have to do is hang out and look beautiful. Now, I'm very allergic to cats, so I have to put on gloves to pet them, what a shame. But they get plenty of love form my hubby.

I just made my "Gumfas" a made up word ???? My hubby made up, this new pink comfy bed. I also made them a matching bone pillow. I should of made two pillows, cause the love it.

SUPER FUN AND FAST TRAVEL MINI ALBUM.

Ok ladies, this by far has been the fastest mini that I've ever made. I found this mini at a scrapbooking store.  The mini was already put together and the pockets were already made and covered. So all that I had to do was embellish it and that's the best part. I plan on using it for our little weekend road trips.
Hubby and I just got back from a little getaway , so much fun! Quick story, he dropped me off at Hobby Lobby, a treat for us because we don't have one in Miami. In the mean time he was spending time with his "super mom" of a sister. Sara, she's amazing. He finally had to call me to see if I was ok, I had been in the store for almost 3 hrs, OMG time just flew by. You can imagine what I did for 3 hours in a Hobby Lobby.

MORE GIRLIE PINK GOODNESS.

Ok ladies, have you ever worked on a project that you stretched out because you're having such a great creative time with, and you just don't want it to end. Well this is such a project, I've been so sick with the flu, going on 2 weeks now. All this time in bed got my creative juices going. I found these ballerina slippers junking in central Florida and I kinda had an idea.

What I did is that I had to paint them, they were very loved!!! On the bigger slippers I did a Gesso wash over the pink acrylic paint. I used vintage music sheets to cover the inside and then I added some diamond dust for a bit of bling. I made the flowers from vintage dictionary pages and gold tulle, the beaded focal point I had been saving for just the right project.

For the smaller ballerina slippers I used vintage french dictionary paper, that I so need to use more of. For the center I used some cream color appliques and a vintage earring. On both, I lined the edge of the slippers in vintage Venice lace from my collection, that I also need to use more of. For now I hung them on this very old mirror that hovers in the little entryway to our home. I like to think these cute little slippers are welcoming you in,  for sure I'll be moving them around the house.

MIXED MEDIA GOODNESS.

These pictures are from a recent class I took with my dear and sweet friend Ms. Olga.  The instructor is the funny and oh so very talented Anna Dabrowska-Pekocka from Poland. OMG, is she an amazing artist! It was a great class and I got to learn new techniques that I would of never tried. Enjoy these beautiful pictures of her work.

Paper doll dispay.

Take a peek at how I altered this 7Gypsy vintage ticket holder. First I stated by painting it in an off white color and then I did a crackle finish. I also mixed a little bit of Gesso with water to create a Gesso wash, I used that to tone down the metal a bit. I embellished it in white, I figure that can go with just about any season. I plan on changing it often, maybe with my favorite ATCs, tickets or ephemera. But, I think these paper dolls look just darling.
If you like to take a closer look, check out my YOU TUBE on it.
