Micaela the turtle.

Everybody is welcome. She's a Box Turtle, we named her "Micaela". Box Turtles are territorial and it will stress them out if they are moved, we got that from the local wild life experts. This was her home before it was ours, she does and can eat anything she wants, plenty for all. She loves the kitchen garden. Her special treat are the Strawberries, she loves them.

Love this journaling card.

I love this image so much. It's by Edgar Degas, it's called The Dance Class and it's my favorite of all his works. I love it so much that I have a print of it in my art studio, it's not framed and it's a little loved from all the moves, but it still so beautiful. So when my friend Heather made a printable kit around his works, I just had to get it. Who am I kidding, I get all her digital art work.  

Last time Jamo and I were in NY we came very close to seeing the original, but the botanical garden won. So much to see and do in NY, maybe next time. I did see one of his work at the Louvre, a charcoal looking, Maybe?? It was called The Painter. But, the one I want to see is this one.  

 

Summer harvest starting to come in for 2021.

It's really way to hot to be playing in the garden. Now I'm just on maintenance mode, no new projects, they're going to have to wait until fall. But, the harvest is starting to come in, yay for us. Today I had our first tomato of the season and saved the other half for my Jamo to have at lunch. WOW, nothing like an organic home grown tomato, so delish.  Since I started growing our own tomatoes back in Miami, I have not been able to buy a tomatoes in the store unless I really have to, for a recipe or something. 

SO happy that I was finally able to grow some cucumbers for my pretty niece that loves them.
