Spring is here in zone 8b, south Alabama, and I just couldn't be happier.

It gets just cold enough here that I can get away with a few Tulips. That's a real treat for me coming from a subtropical Zone 10 (Miami), were it was just a dream. I love them so much, I think this year I'm not going to be selfish and cut any. Going to enjoy them outside even if it means having my morning coffee in the cold, lol.

                                                        Another treat, now I know.

Layers, layers and more layers.

This is my latest journal creations. I'm so happy how they are turning out and the colors are so beautiful. I had Promised my self that I was not going to attempt  to make four at a time and of course I broke my promise. Who am I kidding, I just can't handle four at a time.
My goal is four a month, but not all at once. I really need to reassess my goal as far as my store. But, in the mean time I'm so enjoying my creative time and so loving all these beautiful layers.

New wreath for my greenhouse.

The garden is waking up, it's almost spring. So happy about this pretty wreath that I found at a garage sale for next to nothing. I think it makes the greenhouse look so cozy. I figure if I can get a couple of seasons out of it, I'll be happy. .

My new Boho journals in the making.

I'm loving how these are turning out. The images that I found are so beautiful and the printable papers I'm so in love with. I think I'm using about 4 graphic designers work and I love everyone of them. These are beautiful bold colors that I'm trying to tie together with what I call my new neutral and that is GOLD. Will have more progress pictures soon, if I can stop layering, lol.

Boho bookmark, so fun to make.

I want to add some book marks inside my next journals that will be releasing very soon. This is the sample one and love the colors so much, but it really does not match the color scheme that I have for the journals. I guess I'll have to make new ones, not a problem because I love making them.

Love this little bag so much.

I think one of my friends or maybe it was one of my sisters that gave me this pencil bag. I know that I didn't  buy it, I know someone gave it to me. I love it so much, it's waterproof and it's got plenty of room. I use it to keep my chepo  color pencils for when I do little art projects outside or away from my studio.
I think I like it so much because it reminds me of the old Dick and Jane books.

Winter sowing.

They're coming along, little by little. Lots of flowers and a few vegies, soon they will be ready to be put in the green house for about one week at 50% shade cloth and them I'll start bringing them out a little bit at a time to acclimate them.

They have all found a happy home.

I'm loving this new style, to me, of journal making, the Boho thing, lol. I'm so grateful to all the talented ladies that have inspired me and motivated me to get out of my comfort zone and just go for it. With this journal I wanted to challenge myself and in keeping with the bright and cheerful Boho theme come up with a spring Easter journal. I think the key was to narrow my color choices, which was very hard to do.
I love how these turned out, I think it was one of my most enjoyable projects this year so far.
