Avocado dye, LOVE.

These do take a bit of work, but oh so worth it. I love the fact that every fabric takes the dye a little different and that's so beautiful to me. These are prefect for when you need that little touch to make the project just go over the top. Will be working on more as soon as the weather warms up a bit. I find it that drying them out in the sun is the best way because it helps to enhance the tones. I usually like to put these bundles in a granny tin, but I had none for these, so I made up for it by making these a little larger.

I'm calling her, Shabby Boho French Rabbit Junk Journal.

She is pretty much all hand made. The papers are vintage, new and lot of tea and coffee dye papers. Using all these vivid colors is all new to me and I'm loving it so. She has 103 pages and one signatures with plenty of blank pages to journal on. I used printable from 7 different designers and a few of my own originals.

Loving how the Avocado dye laces and trims turned out.

I can't wait until it get warmer outside so that I can start dying some more laces and trims. I think the letting them dry out in the sun contributes to the color tone that they finally end up with. I have dried them in the dryer and it's just not the same.

Sorting and organizing, plan for this weekend.

I'm in love with these rich colors and textures. These are all junky finds that I've already washed and lightly iron and the colors came back to life. What's not to love about beautiful fabrics, can't stop playing with them. May be that's why it takes me so long to always organize my fabric.
The jewelry pieces are also junky finds that I have to take apart and turn into Boho charms, or at least I'm going to give it a try.
