2020 garden season inspiration picture.

This is my inspiration picture for the 2020 garden season. I'm envisioning a cozy, colorful, rambling garden. My goal is to just drop my lingering prejudice for the color yellow and tuck pops of it here and there. I have a feeling I'm going to need lots of vases this season.
Most of my annuals I grow from seed and that's the best part of it, the anticipation of what will germinate.

New TN cover.

Good morning and happy Friday, we made it. Sharing my new Boho-hipster tie-dye print traveler's notebook cover. It's constructed all in soft cotton fabric with a sturdy insert stabilizer that gives it body, but it's not stiff, it's pliable. The open TN cover measures twelve and a half by eleven and a half inches.

Early morning garden walk.

Little by little they're starting to come up and I couldn't be happier. We've had a very mild winter this year and I'm loving it. I've only been in this gardening zone 8b for 2 years, but I went back to do some research and they've had way cooler winters. The first year I was here it was freezing in the morning on a day like today. Even though I only had just a few plants in back then, I keep meticulous garden journal.
It's so exciting to be in a new gardening zone to experiment and learn, what can I grow here??????

New Parisian theme TN cover.

I love this fabric and I'm so glad I save the leftovers pieces. I made this cute Traveler's Notebook cover. My mom taught me how to miter the corners. For the closure band, I used this beautiful headband I found a while back. For the inside fabric I used pretty red floral, so cute.

Happy Valentine's Day.

Cooking a romantic dinner for my Jamo tonight, key word is cooking. I asked him what he wanted, me thinking something simple that I can handle. He said "Paella like my aunt use to make in Spain, with the same ingredients", lol. Me, making Paella from a Goya cajita and with lots of love that you just can't get from a Restaurant.

I love this inspiring table all in pink and so beautiful, not mine, found it on like.

Early Valentine's day gift.

I'm so excited, I got an early Valentine's day gift from hubby. He got me a pile of rocks, yes rocks. Who needs chocolate and a fancy dinner, lol. That's nice too, specially if that make you happy. Rocks make me so happy, I think it looks beautiful. We have these same rocks in the front porch landing and they have faded a bit, so I'm thinking that may happen here too with time and that's ok by me.
We have a large oak and pecan tree, so as far as leaves, the blower should do all my maintenance. I can't wait to start planting. This is my "kitchen" garden, but I want a few flowers in there too. I love my Jamo, he gets me.
