Re-decorating and changing things up a bit.

I've been very productive these past few weeks, having so much fun. But, not creating and making art projects. I've been working on projects around the house. Sometimes I wonder how I ever find the time, but I do because I love decorating too.
So far I've sanded, primed, painted, upholstered, sewn new curtains and spruced up an old lamp a client gave me.
I've also finished priming, painting and organising more baskets that I got at Target. It feels so good to get things done and I'm so happy how it all turned out. I'm really loving this new shabby chic look that I'm going for. It's all so crispy white with hints of pink and green, so girly ..... poor hubby. LOL, he says he's happy if I'm happy.

More beautiful ATCs.

Hi friends, I've been missing from my blog for a while. I've had lots of work come my way. I do feel blessed and I'm very grateful but, I'm a little bit tired. I've also been working on some organizational projects at home, scrapbook related and I'll show you my progress latter.
I've been wanting to post these beauties for a few weeks now, but I've had no time. Here they are, some more beautiful ATCs. These are from a private swap I did with Ms. ANA. The first picture is of a wall hanging sign she found will junking around, I just love it. LOOK at all this goodness.
Can you believe, these are her first ATCs ever. We were exchanging one and she did all of these. Yes, she is hooked. Love them ALL. Thanks you Ms. Ana.

Gift from my friend Janet.

I'm loving this gorgeous dress form!!! This was a gift from my dear friend JANET, she's an amazing talented ladie, make sure to take a peek at her You Tube channel. I just can't stop looking at it. She made it out of a toilet paper roll and she also use molding paste.
I can't wait for her to get the ALL OK with her camera so that she can make tutorials videos, she has some great techniques.

SUPER SIMPLE DIY PAPER STORAGE PROJECT.

I wanted some kind of a storage system for my cardstock and designer 12 x 12 paper stacks. I need it to be mobile and easy to get to. After looking around the office supply stores and on line, I decided I would try and do it my self.

I started by priming and spray painting these basket that I found at Target. I then measured the bottom of the baskets and cut a piece of MDF board to fit. I then added the wheels to the bottom of the MDF board. I used washers to secure the basket to the bottom of the board and then added the canvas basket liners. But, I still felt it needed a little something else. I remembered the vintage yard sticks that I've been collecting. I used them to create a little beveled edge all around the bottom of the basket. I think it gives it a little bit more of a finished look.
No project of mine would be completed with out a pretty charm. It's perfect because it rattles every time I move the baskets around. I'm so happy how it turned out because it works for me.

Loving my new bubblegum machine.

Look what I found while searching for vintage treasures in central Florida. This, so cute bubblegum machine was candy apple red, after lightly sanding her a bit. I painted her in this beautiful pink ballerina shade of pink and I just love how she turned out. The top is glass and it holds my favorite white and cream vintage button collection.

The little LOVE sign is new to my valentine projects for this year. Super simple, I just used the little frames from Michaels and the letters are from Tattered Angels embossed framed fonts, chipboard alphabet. The ink I used was the Tattered Rose distress ink by Tim Holtz.
