No trash only treasures.

Had a great day today, spend the day with Beth and my sister. We got to go hunting for metal treasures and we found some great things. By the afternoon they were cleaned, tag and ready to sell. I think what I liked the most was working on arranging and displaying of the booth. I was so into it that I so forgot to take pictures of the booth and it looked so darn pretty, but I'm sure there will be plenty of other times.

                                                                         LOVE these.

Happy Planner layouts for July.

Lots going on with the renovations of our little cottage, but I can always find time to play in my Happy Planner. Yesterday our new AC was install, living in the south that's a must. Walls are coming down and electrical updated, let the transformation begin. I always forget to take pictures and record our journey.

Lots going on at our home front.

I've been a bad blogger, I know, too much going on all at once. Well friends we are beyond happy and excited to start in our new journey of bring this beauty back to life. God has been so good to us. Everything has been so smooth, from quickly selling our home in Miami to purchasing this sweet little cottage in our new home town of Enterprise, Alabama.
God placed in my heart that this was the right thing to do now,  for our family. I even questioned him, and he gave me a response short of banging me in the head with it, lol. God is awesome and he gives us all the right answers once we start paying attention to him.
She's got great bones, lots of light, a nice size back yard and in the historic part of town that I love. Yes, she is the worse house on the block, lol.  So, here we go.

Those windows will soon be turned into french doors.

Oh, I got plans for this built in.

We just can't wait to restore these hard wood floors.

I think this will be the master bedroom?

If I can pull it off, beyond that door is my future art studio. That was an add on and it needs lots of help. We'll see what happens, since that's not a priority, yeah right.

HAPPY FATHER'S DAY.

God's beauty is everywhere.

My Jamo found this little nest just outside our front door. The babies did not eat for 3 days, we did give them some water with a syringe. Thank God the mama came back because they started calling for her. We had already contacted the wildlife reserve folks, but it all worked out.

These beauties I found all around our local metal  dump. I'm not use to this good fertile soil, thing just grow everywhere. I have a feeling that when I'm ready to garden I won't be doing much soil amending.

2017 Spring Home Garden Tour, southern Alabama.

This beautiful and elegant garden belongs to Martha and Les Moreland. The Moreland Family Garden began as a labor of love for Les' mother years ago, a tradition he and Martha are proud to carry forward. The back yard oasis features a large koi and goldfish pond with fountains, pergola and a bridge over a creek bed. This family was very gracious and welcomed us to view the gardens from inside the house, through a gorgeous picture window. They also took the time to print a hand out with a brief explanation and names of all the plant specimens in their property, OMG this will be so helpful for me. Thank you! Gardeners are the nicest people and southern gardeners.......what else can I say.
