I never can seam to be able to throw away these little books and pamphlets they hand out at church. They really print some cute and creative church invites and I love the unusual shapes they come up with. The quality of the paper is thick and sturdy, perfect to pain on it. I mixed glazing medium with the paint to create a translucent shade, I think it's kinda neat that you can still read some of the sermon notes. At first I had no idea how I was going to bind all the different sizes of the pages together. So I decided to sew them and I'm so glad I did, love them. All I've done so far as art is to gesso all the covers, painted the pages and collaged some paper napkins on them. Let the fun begin, no rushing this project.
