Rain rain go away already.

It's been such a wet summer here is south Florida. It's been raining for about 3 months, no kidding. I can't take it anymore, I need to work on my garden. I need to feel the dirt in my hands, I know I'm weird that way.
Here are a few pictures I managed to take on a rare sunny day. I can't wait to start planting my seeds, but it's way too hot still. In the meantime I think I'll head over and enjoy Boobbie Lynn's garden.

  1. The rain has kept everything so green and lush. But I know we'll be ready for cooler temps. Just wish it didn't come with shorter days! Enjoy your day my friend! Hugs!

  2. Awww Marlene, You are so sweet. : )
Wow, that is a lot of rain and it summer. There were a few areas in Southern California that received some rain and it was a good rain too. I heard from a few people that it even hailed. Not in my area. It has been hot but not too bad. This weekend we will be have very hot and humid weather, so it will be out in the yard very early and back indoors. I'm making a list of flowers that I want to grow for next year. Of course the list is long. I'm planing a cut flower garden next year and maybe, a few container veggies (this is a maybe). I want more flowers. Anyway, I have been sewing and finished another summer dress (same pattern that I posted a while ago). Now I'm not do another pattern but I need to get going on my laundry room curtains. The fun part will be looking for the fabric.
Thank you for your comment. I really enjoyed making my banners and hope to be making more soon. While I was making them I thought about one using laces and trims. I just saw your video on your beautiful tags. Great inspiration Marlene. Hope you have some nicer weather so you can go play in your garden. Sending my blessings to you. Take care my Friend.
