Turning some junk finds into art.

Yes I also collect junk and the junkier the better. I love these rusty finds and I can't wait to get my hand on more. So I kind of had an idea what I wanted to do and I went for it.

I had so much fun creating this piece and that's what I like about mixed media projects, you really can't make a mistake, everything goes and I think that's so freeing to me.  I think my favorite areas are the spots where the rust came through the paint, I could never duplicate that look and I love it.

I did a video explaining it all and I would love it if you would follow me on You Tube. Here is the LINK

  17. I fell in love with this the minute I saw it on YT. As you pointed out the houses you used were expensive so I have hunted around for a long time and found a Wooden Village (complete with a Church) it was £6.99 reduced to £3! A week or so later I found miniature wooden Farm complete with fences gates and animals this was £5 reduced to £1.45!! Both were from Oxfam so I have given to charity as well!
As soon as I have completed it (or I may video it section by section) I will let you know. You, my dear friend have really inspired me and I am sure, many more. Thank you.
Blessings and love from June xx
