I always wanted a pink door.

This is as close as I'm going to get to a pink door. Hubby loves me a lot but I don't think he will go for that. So I have to settle for this one. When I found her she was green, but I had to make her shabby and why not pink. Love her now.

This is my Ella all dressed up for Thanksgiving dinner. I didn't  use all the pieces that I had originally pulled out for her, but I like how she turned out. Since I don't wear much jewelry, it's always fun to play with her.

This is our Thanksgiving table set up for this year. Originally we had planned to set up outside, like we have done in the past. But because of all the rain, we thought it be best to set up inside. We have a small home but it all worked out and I like how it looks. I usually set up as much as I can the day before, so I can relax.
In our home hubby likes to cook and I'm so blessed because I can't boil water. I do however help him by prepping and cleaning and  what ever else he needs. I love to spend time with him in the kitchen, as long as I'm not the one cooking, lol.
I have so much to be thankful  for. I have an amazing husband that I love so much our cute Pearly. I healthy family and we all live in this great country , beautiful friends and a great home. Well, I can go on and on, I guess God has blessed me with a great life.

I wish you a HAPPY THANKSGIVING with the ones you love.

Altering some vintage findings.

These little pieces really needed help, so I took out my favorite shade of pink. Now I'm in love with them and I plan on displaying and using them throughout our home.

This is a very old little cheese box, this time I gave it a baby blue white wash. I added this vintage earring so that It looks like a little knob and I think it worked.  I'm keeping some of my tea die trims that I wrapped in these vintage spools.

Found treasure, after picture.

Well this is the sewing box now. I started by cleaning it and painting it. I changed the fabric to some yummy vintage laces, I then added these beautiful flowers that I've been saving for just the right project.
I'm using it to store my stick pin making supplies. I'm using some of my glass test tubes to store some of my favorite pins. I loved how it turned out, I made it my own and I will treasure it always.

Found treasure, before pictures.

This beautiful sewing box I purchased from the sweetest couple. I went to a road side flea market in central Florida and I met the cutest little couple. She was selling baking goods, pies and preserved, they had all this sewing goodies on the side and I started to inquire about it.  The husband stared telling me how he built this sewing box for her from scratch for her. I just had to get it specially once I saw all the love he put into it. Her eye sight was going and she could no longer sew, I told them that I would treasure it and would take good care of it .
These are the before pictures.
