A THANKFUL BUT SAD POST.

It's with great sadness that I do this post. Our 14 year old baby Jules is no longer with us. She was diagnose a few months ago with a collapse trachea and we could no longer help her. We tried it all, from meds to holistic and she lost the battle. We had to make the hard decision of putting her to sleep. She was suffering and not getting enough oxygen, so  hubby and I had to let her go. God put her in our lives when she was 4 month old and we are so grateful. Thank you Lord for blessing us and  allowing us to have her.
She was the sweetest little thing and we miss her so very much. We walk around and cry for no reason. But, what breaks my heart the most is that her buddy Pearl is so sad, she keeps looking for her and we don't know what else to do to distract her. I know that with God's help, this too shall pass.

  1. Condolences, sorry for the loss of Jules. Having been there more than once I know how the loss of a four legged baby of the family can tear you apart. Just hang on to the fact you gave Jules 14 wonderful years of life and love. In return she left you with a lot of wonderful memories.

  6. Oh Marlene- I am so so very sorry. It is so hard to lose a pet and that is a long time to have had her. I know what an empty hole it leaves in your life to lose a beloved animal-it is like losing a member of your family- but, I am glad you made the decision to not let her suffer any more- xo Diana

  9. Having just gone through this in Feb. with my 16 year old Pug Maggie May, I have some idea of what you are going through. Those are our babies. God bless you and hubby and Pearl with His Peace that passes all understanding. You will always miss her but we have great memories and were so blessed to have had them in our lives. 11. I am truly sorry for your loss. They are such little loves who ask for so little yet give so much unconditionally to us. I still grieve the loss of my Sasha BooBoo kitty but am thankful for the 18 years she shared with us. May your memories keep you smiling...

  12. Oh Marlene, I am so sorry for your loss. She reminds me of my Sadie. I had to make that decision a few years ago. Sadie was 15. I didn't think I'd ever get another dog, but I now have the most amazing dog. He is totally different from Sadie but every bit as loving and special. Becs

  17. Hello Marlene,
I noticed your beautiful photo on my followers so thought I would pop by to say hello. Oh dear, I am greeted with such sadness. I am so terribly sorry for your loss. Our dear furry friends are so important in our lives. We lost our Mo a couple of years ago and it still hurts to think about her. I know how you are feeling, it doesn't get easier, we just learn to live with it. You did the right thing, we love them so much how can you watch them suffer. She is now frolicking with the others in some deep grass with the sun on her back :-)
Hope you can smile again soon.
Great to meet you, sorry it has to be under sad circumstances. Thinking of you.
