A few additions to my fall decor.

This year I've added this garland to my fall decor. When I saw it, I just had to have it. I added a bit more brown and golden glitter to the leaves and it sparkles so when the light hits it just right. Because my house is small, I really have to be very selective on how I decorate for the seasons.

This is my front door wreath, this year all I did to it is that I added a few more leaves and sunflowers. I also had to touch up with hot glue some of the little pumkins that had loosen up a bit. I love how it looks against my brown front door. Still working on a few more fall decor projects, I'll be posting them soon.

Vintage/Shabby Chic Cards.

My client Ana Maria, asked if I would make a card for her granddaughter that is turning 21. I made her three different cards to choose from. I sure hope she likes them.
I also altered two little note books out of the paper scraps, I had left over from the cards.

Webster's Pages velum paper layout.

I wanted to incorporate some red into my layouts. I don't know why It's hard for me to work with red. But, when I saw this paper I knew this was my chance. I don't know if Webster's makes this paper design in regular card stock, but I only had it in velum. I love this paper, because it can be used for a boy layout too.

SWAN ALTERED BOXES, TO STORE SOME OF MY GOODIES IN.

This was a super fun altered project to make. These are regular Kraft paper boxes that I of course had to cover using, my all time favorite paper collection, Websters Pages . I them trimmed the top of each box with a soft pink velvet ribbon, I LOVE velvet ribbons.
The little swan I picked up for just a few pennies. The key is from my collection of vintage goodies. I will soon have a video up on it.

SUPER SIMPLE AND FAST. THE MAKING OF MY FALL VASE.

This large glass vase has sort of become the focal point in my living room area. I've had this vase for a while now and I change it with the seasons. This is how I do the fall. I start by coiling some burlap, fall leaves and acorns till I get to the top. I then play with the branches and filler material and voila' I'm done.
Simple and fast. It always turnes out a little different, but I always like the end result.

My new addiction, can't wait to try new colors.

I wanted to do a quick project this weekend and this is what I came up with. I've made these flowers before, but not in these warm colors. They're fun and super simple to make.
First you'll need your favorite flower die. Try using different colors and fabric textures. I then soak them in a solution of half water and half fabric stiffener, these are the ones that I like. When they dry, that's when the fun begins. I just use my glue gun to assemble the layers and I finish up with a brad or a button.
The only problem is knowing when to stop! They're addictive, you've been warned.
